In the fictional book Gods and Guardians Journey to the Plains of Amar. R.W. Dove weaves a tale of a young man named Arthur.

Arthur learns on his eighteenth birthday that he is not who he thought he was. After his mother is attacked by a ruthless government official, the family and Arthur's best friends are forced to flee the only home Arthur has ever known.

Arthur and his friends must follow the guidance of an old begger who is not what he appears to be. They are thrust into a world filled with magic and strange creatures and danger is always just a footstep behind. They must reach the top of a mountain known as the Plains of Amar. Only there can they reach the portal that will help Arthur fulfill his destiny.

Hello readers, my name is R.W. Dove. I was born in Alexandria Virginia. My family lived in Fairfax Virginia for several years until moving to a small county in Southwest Virginia. I learned to love the beauty of the mountains there. I spent much of my youth hiking and fishing in the Appalachian mountains. The South really has so much to offer. I believe that life is filled with magic if we just stop to realize and acknowledge it. There is a whole world that goes on around us that many times goes unnoticed.
